Back to Black...

No I don't work for, or represent the company. But I just wanted to share my experience with the product- Mothers Back to Black....

I had accidently gotten some wax or polish on the plastic cowl underneath and inbetween the front windshield and the hood. It had left the infamous white stained swirls and streaks...

It has been driving me nuts...and I tried simple conventional "cleaners" and it just made the "swirls" cleaner....

Bought some Mothers Back to Black and followed the directions and it worked as advertised. The plastic looks brand new, and the white swirls are gone.

If you have a similar problem, I'd recommend the product.

Before you apply that product next time, if there's a next time with getting wax on rubber or black plastics, try this. Get yourself an eraser and just erase it, trust me, it works and doesn't hurt the finish. The reason it works is because the plastic is pores and the rubber eraser just digs into it and removes or erases it

Back to black is a great product and I'm glad it worked out for you.

streaking

I also had the exact same problem involving wax on the cowl cover. I pondered purchasing "back to black" and other similar products. The reviewers from amazon said that the product streaked and ran down on other surfaces. Tell us how it works after washing and/or rain and how long the blackening effect remains over time.

back to black is a great product! Not only will it remove wax from trim but it will also revitalize dulled rubber trim! Used it for years but then couldnt find it for the longest time. I though they removed it from the market. Glad to hear is still out though, gonna need to pick some up!
