Exclamation Wheel Lug Post

Purchased new tires and the shop over-torqued the lug nuts. Decided to replace my brake pads today, while taking the wheel off encountered a frozen lug nut. Sheared right off trying to break it loose. Bought a new lug post and nut, removed the rotor, only to find that there isn't enough room to knock the broken lug post out. Seems as though the hub has to be pulled. What is the procedure for replacing a broken lug post? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

That would only work for removal. There still would not be enough room to insert the new lug post. Seems as if the hub needs pulled

Remove the spindle to replace the stud. Make sure, at the very least, to have the new one machine pressed in. While you have everything taken apart, I'd recommend inspecting your wheel bearing and replacing it if it's bad since it'll be easily accessible.

The same thing happened to my brother's car. He called the dealer and they replaced the stud at no charge. GL
