Fit sport 07 Battery
Helo Guys,
Today i left school at 915pm est and drove 3 miles and parked my car and had the engine off but the radio was on for at most 10mins at a very low volume. I also have a sub woofer mtx thunder link all in one with speaker and amp in same unit. Then when i tried to start my car the car did not start. I tried 2 time to start it but nothing. I sound like it was going to start but nothing. Each time i tried to start it all the blue lights on the dash would flash on and off. So i again waited for 2 mins and tried to start it and it started that time on try 3. So i want to know do i need a new battery or is the alternator going bad and not charging the battery? I think 10 mins with the car off and radio on at low volume should not drain the battery to that point. The honda fit sport 07 has 56,225 miles on it.
thanks for all your help.

Well there are people on this forum that have killed their stock battery in 2 years without the help of a subwoofer/amp.
If it runs as long as you want it to after you jump it, it's the battery. Usually if you always have to jump it to go, it's the battery. If you're driving and the headlights get progressively dimmer until the car dies, it's probably the alternator.

If you have a tester, test the voltage of the battery to see if your battery is still good. Do this before changing your battery. Check out the link below.
