This mod is so easy. For some reason I didn't have to break anything. When taking out the motor, I broke the pin without knowing it. Then when I went to flip it, it did it for me.
Also, you do not need to remove the whole blade and motor, etc. You can simply take your garnish off in your trunk, fold down your rear seats, and work from inside your trunk. I did this personally. I don't know why, but It was damn cold and my fingers were cramping, so I found it easier to do that. Plus I'm a small dude so it wasn't too difficult lol.

It might have been a mod invented here in Japan but it is not how the cars left the factory in Suzuka. I have not seen a single example in my corner of Japan and I've been looking out for the last couple of months.
And yes as said earlier, that photo was not taken in Japan. The numberplates are all wrong for starters. Looks much more like Malaysia.
