i did this awhile ago. but i left the arm on cause i was dumb enough not to figure out i could take the bolt cover off... and the gear fell off, it also rolled out my garage and went in the grass and got a ton of crap on it from the grease. but i got it all cleaned and put it back on. but it is ACTUALLY vertical. but i think it looks better, i dont like it past vertical...
anyways this is the diy i used....

How you ever worked it with the arm on is beyond me. I can understand why it all fell apart. At first I tried to unplug the harness, but on the GE's it's a funky plug with no visible means of releasing it, I think you need to poke something in the side to get it off. Most are simply a pressure point or clip thing. No harm done though, it is easiest to just let it hang on the wire.

Well KC the wife was not impressed with my Stiffy. So it leans a bit to the right.
Like Raouf said I had my gear come out but in my hand. A good guess got it back in the right way.
So what can we tackle next?

You need to get one of these to highlight the brake light
The wife might appreciate it - most likely been harpen on you for a while now, eh_????

I have an overlay that says Fit on mine. I am thinking of getting the LED one.

ok, for my GD,it works great! the calibration for the windshield wiper is hard if your windows are already clean and doing it alone to test out.
if you want your windshield wipers vertical you can put it in the middle slot and it will wiper clean the "left side" then wipe the "right side" and return to "vertical"

I did it on my GD, took maybe 30 minutes. Hardest part for me was figuring out that there was a plastic cover hiding the nut that holds the wiper arm on - I felt pretty dumb when I finally got it. Many thanks to the folks who came up with this mod - I love it!
Locating the wiper arm is easy:
Locating the wiper arm is easy:
- Intall the arm and tighten the nut just enough so that it cannot slip on the splines.
- Flip the arm out, away from the window. This will allow the wiper motor to sweep freely without friction from the window, resulting in full motion of the arm.
- Turn the ignition switch on.
- Turn the rear wiper on. Don't worry about it hitting anything, because it is not against the window - it is just flapping around in space.
- Turn the ignition switch off EXACTLY when the wiper is at the lowest point of its sweep. You may have to try a few times until you get it right.
- Flip the wiper back against the window and see where it hits. Adjust as needed.
- Lather rinse repeat.
- Run a final test with wiper against the window, the engine running, and water on the window so the wiper will move freely.
- Stand back and admire your 'stiffy' wiper. No more gunk accumulation, yay!

wdb +rep on that, just as I did on my 2010Sport. My biggest problem was getting the dang wiper arm off. Needed to go to AutoZone and use a puller. Also tried this without the bolt on the arm and it just flew off!!

You'll soon adjust to the mod - it's nice.
