What I did to raise 2009 Fit Sport and support the car on two jack stands on the front frame:.

1) use Honda scissor jack to lift front driver side a bit
2) use a floor jack on the front jack point to lift the car higher. FYI, without lifting the car a bit, I could not get any leverage using low profile floor jack to the front jack point.
3) replace Honda jack with a jack stand and put another jack stand on the front passenger side.
4) release the floor jack and support the car on the two jack stands.

BTW, I wasn't comfortable using other jacking points not mentioned in the manual.

On other topic, the car was raised to check the pads and rotors and especially to prepare for changing out the pads and rotors soon. I was lucky and was able to loosen the rotor screws using a bit of hammering and impact driver. I screwed them back in with anti-seize on the thread so I can easily pull them out in about couple of weeks.
