Okay, well I think I'm about ready to order my supplies. Just a few last questions. This is basically my list.

Washing:
- 1Z Einszeit Perls Shampoo or Meguiar's Gold Class Shampoo
- Cobra Blue Chenille Microfiber Wash Mitt
- Cobra Guzzler to dry
- Two 5 gallon buckets with grit guard

Claying
- Probably Meguiar's clay and Meguiar's quick detailer. How are the other clays compared to Meguiar's? Meguiar's seems to be the most expensive on Autogeek. Is it really a lot better than the others?

Glazing
- ClearKote Red Moose Glaze. Quick question about this. The description of this product on a website says "To avoid bonding issues, we do not recommend applying a sealant on top of Red Moose Glaze". Now, I've read on some websites that wax is a sealant, and what people usually call sealants are like artificial wax. Is it okay to wax over the glaze?
- Foam applicator pads to apply the glaze

Wax
- Optimum Spray Wax (Is this the right one? Optimum Car Wax is a spray wax made with real carnauba and synthetic paint sealants for protection & shine! high-grade carnauba wax and silicone) P21 is like $50 . I don't mind having to wax more often as long as Optimum offers similar protection. I know you said the P21 lasts a while, but other than that, is it a lot better?
-More foam applicator pads

All clay is usually the same, I just prefer meguiars over other non reputable brands.

Synthetic and carnauba wax are different. You can use optimum spray wax over red moose glaze. I guess you shouldn't be putting synthetic sealant over the glaze like duragloss aquawax.

Also P21 100% is hands down the BEST carnauba wax ever made and $50 is actually very very cheap for such a high quality wax. Optimum will do just fine for you though.

Hey, it's me again lol. I was doing more uh... reasearch and came across these pictures. This person used Meguiar's NXT 2.0 wax.

It did an amazing job hiding the swirls. Clearkote is only available on the one website and is quite expensive with shipping. I read reviews of the NXT wax and it has good reviews except it doesn't seem to last long. Would it work if I put the NXT on first instead of the glaze and then put on the optimum spray wax? Would the optimum kinda seal in the meguiar's? Then I just wax with optimum and use meguiar's when the swirls show up again. Meguiar's would be much more convenient to get. Walmart for like $10.

I highly doubt that was just with NXT. And its NXT or glaze, cant use both. A glaze main purpose is to fill in and hide swirls. NXT is a synthetic that just happens to have small filling properties. I am not a fan of NXT. If you really want to try theres not much to lose, since its available it walmart. But dont expect those results at all. Look at the details in my thread, those took HOURS of polishing with an abrasive polish and a porter cable and I achieved similiar results. If I could do that with NXT my job would be MUCH easier.

Hmm, okay. Are any of the glazes on autogeek good or similar to the Clearkote one? Clearkote's is on their website, but has like $10 shipping and ends up being $30 for the bottle. If I can get everything from autogeek and get one shipping price it'd be easier.

What do the numbers mean? I notice a lot of these car products have numbers. ex. Meguiar's Mirror Glaze #3 or #7. I've noticed these numbers with waxes and such too.

Well order other stuff so you can take advantage of the shipping, maybe some towels? You can also order the glaze from somewhere else. Check out www.detailedimage.com

As for the numbers, its just a number. Each number is a different product as it says. #21 is synthetic sealant and #26 is hi-tech yellow wax. It should say what the product is right next to it.
