is your ac on?

I am assuming you are automatic? it probably has something to do with the water pump and autos not being designed to be driven in neutral. That or you have a vacuum leak.

Hi

I have noticd the same thing. I have a 09 Jazz ge8 manual (south africa). i have a very long, steep driveway. if put into neutral and rolling down the driveway, the rpm's go up a bit, and when the car stops at the bottom (still in neutral) the rpm's go back down. It has done this since day one.

hi, my fit and my dad's civic, both '09, do the same thing. so im guessing its a thing Honda made the cars do for safety reasons when going downhill. idk...im just making a guess
