I can't tell exactly, but at worst you are looking at the entire shift cover assembly #3, which sells for $25 - $35.

If you are lucky it's the Dust Cover # 11, less than 5 bux.

did you just break one of the arms off? its not that big of deal. just put the borken one back in when you install it and the other clips should hold the shifter assembly in place.

ya im talking about the white thing that goes around the ball that kinda holds the shift lever in place. (it also took a while to get out) luckily that guy didnt break it into pieces i have about 3/5 of it left. so when im in neutral and i move the shifter to the left it kinda just stays there a bit but when i move it to the right it moves back

does anyone know what that piece is called????

as long as it holds the shifter lever in place and doesnt make you miss your shifts then i would not worry about it. maybe its a good excuse to buy the mugen short shifter assembly. ha ha ha

You could try cramming dense foam (like the stuff used for packing computers) into the area where the claw is missing. This would provide support and a little springing, self centering action.

Kind of Ghetto, but it would work as long as it isn't deteriorated by oil. It hides under the shift boot, correct?
