haha.
BTW, did you happen to break part of your base unit? If so, was the switch still able to snap back into the base unit with no problems popping back out?

base unit as in the assembly side? no, i only broke the locking tabs on the fan switch.
works great now though, cant tell it was broken. probably more robust than original
now. lol

Yea as you guys said i was following the crutchfield instructions too. They should really fix them. @&#@ fan switch

IT'S FIXED! ahha. Just needed the fan switch itself. Honda was more cleaver than i thought - i mis understood how the fan assembly was put together and mounted onto the base.

I'm thinking about calling them...but kinda lazy and just happy it all works.

BTW did you guys use the original mounting brackets that hooked onto the hvac and the OEM HU? I pretty much didn't use that. Although i realize now that all that holds my HU in is clips...i don't think it'll come loose and everything feels pretty darn solid.

naw i didnt use it cause mine's only a 1 din and light weight, plus the metra's
cup holds the HU in place as well since it's below the HU.

i just used the sliding ISO bracket that came with the stereo.
