Dull Spot in Clearcoat ?

Hey all. Haven't posted in a while. Came back from a 3 hour highway drive and I noticed a white hazy spot on my VBP Fit. I grabbed the Meguiars Quick Detail and a microfiber cloth. Usually gets any crap off and leaves a nice shine. Didn't budge it. So I got a soft sponge and some plain dishsoap/water. Got the weird white spot off but there is still a definite dull spot in the clearcoat where the white was and you can feel a difference with your finger. I tried buffing with Griots Paint Sealant. It helped, but not much.

Any suggestions?

I was wondering the same thing.... I think I have something similar on mine near the rear passenger door (right at the frame). I just waxed it and noticed it's got a different consistency!

Where's your spot?

The spot is passenger rear about a foot below the 3rd row window. It really looked like bird poo but wouldn't it have to be like 'atomic poo' to eat through the clearcoat?

At first I thought tree sap... but I'm still not sure what to say mine is.

I also have this dull looking spot in the clear coat on my rear passenger door next to the handle.

Sigh, but my car is white, so its pretty unnoticeable. I still notice it, at times.
