DIY paint manifold cover

Ok its easy but i thought i would post this for new guys MODS please make this a sticky. Here are the tools u will need

1.Blue painter tape

2.Razer blade to cut

3.Paint

4.Clear coat

5. A flat head screw driver
6. A 10 mm socket wrench

Ok there are 2, 10mm screws at the top of the cover u have to take off just use the socket wrench they are easy to remove. Next there is 2 screws right next to the vetec emblem. I used a rag under the screw driver so it would not scratch them, they are made of plastic. Than the cover will just pull right off. Now what u do is use the blue tape and tape the vetec emblem up. Now use the razor blade and cut the tape so its exact fit for the eblem. Now just pop out the 2 plastic screws. There is a washer behind the screw that is holding it on just pull it off but be careful don't want to break it. Now whipe the cover off put about 3-4 coats of paint on her. Let it dry in between each coat. Than use the clear coat i put 3 coats of this on. Same thing let it dry for each coat. Use what ever color u want i did this because my fit is vbp. I bought all the tools at home depo. its a nice cheap and easy mod. Here is a pic of it after its done

Yeah, but it's even more specific. The tape and knife also have to be the same to the color you're making your manifold cover.

How about a photo of the engine after the paint. I am looking for a winter project and this might just be it.
