Scotchguard for Seats?

Just picked up my '08 red Fit Monday and of course I want to keep it "new" for as long as possible! Has anyone here used Scotchguard or something similar on the seats? I don't think I want to go with covers, but I want to keep the seats looking as nice as possible.

Thanks!

We sell/install another product that kills Scotchguard... has been used in high-end jets for almost 20 years. I do recommend doing something, but since you aren't in Dallas, I can't help you too much

Hmmm...well since I'm not near Texas and don't know what the alternative is, I went ahead and sprayed the Fit's interior with Scotchguard today. We'll see how it is; although I don't plan on spilling anything in it!

Scotchguard is fine...I sprayed my interior too and it is holding up real well.

I bought 303 High Tech Fabric Guard (303 high tech fabric guard, 303 fabric guard) to apply to the seats, but I haven't applied it yet because it needs warm weather to dry and we haven't really had much.

I applied it to a headrest as a test and it didn't discolor the fabric or anything weird. It seems to be oily, so I think I will need to put a bunch of towells around the seat so the product doesn't get on anything else.

I've applied it but haven't really "tested" it. I put it in my wife's Mazda5 and she did have a spill and said that it "beaded up."

303 is the best. Liquids bead when a spill occurs. Scotchguard has to be reapplied every 6 months whereas 303 lasts for years.
