Wax Fits
What types of Wax is everyone using out there? Please include location and climate in this discussion. Various colors may react differently to various waxes and climates.
I drive the SSM in Colorado.
Thanks

i drive a NBP fit, and i live in southern california. i use Meguiar's products which work well, but i'm thinking of trying something new. has anyone used Shining Monkey products? I hear good things.
what do you other NBP fits use?
p.s. - this will probably be moved to the "Fit Care" forum.

zaino is hands down an amazing wax if you have the time. i used it on my last car (nhbp 06 SI) and it looked better than showroom condition. well worht the money.
the fit so far has a coat of meguires nxt....when the summer weather comes it will get a couple coats of zaino.
remember thought, your finish will only look as good as the time youput into it. dont expect to slap a coat of wax on and look shining. wax is only a coating, if there are scratches on your car, your simply coating over them. polish your car for best results.

If you find a good cleaner wax (Maguire's works well) you could do that once a year or so, Just be careful with it because if you use it too often it thins out your clear coat. 1-2 times a year will be fine for SEVERAL years worth of paint life.

what you want to get is Prima Hydro. it is a spray wax that last 3-4 wks.
You just wash your car like usual, then while drying spritz some hydro
over your panels, glass, plastics, and just wipe down with a waffleweave
MF drying towel.
tell em kenchan sent ya.

cat- have you tried the NXT2.0 yet? i hear it's suppose to last a lot longer than the original NXT.
I was sold on the NXT until i found out how easily the thing washes
away. the spraywax (Prima Hydro) lasts much longer than NXT
and hells of a lot easier to apply. just mist and wipe during wipe down.
im willing to try the NXT2.0 if i hear more great reviews.
