calling all NHBP

so i go a bit crazy and buy this car wash , then a new wax; then a different car wash, and some other random product-
i have built up quite the collection - mostly from my civic
since i have only had bette for 6 (winter) months
anyway- my civic was "clover green" it was a 99
i found a pic through google- i have no idea whos car it is but it was the same i had

anyway... the color was cool- easy to keep clean and looked awesome when newly cleaned-
i think i like NHBP so much too bc they both had blue flakes..

anyway getting to the point!
one of the waxes i had around was turtle wax ice

i had yet to use it on the fit- and wasnt all that excited at first bc it never really gave that "wow" with my civic.. so it sat and i used paste wax and all that, then today (4/10/08)..
i used it!
OMG lol
USE IT!
here are the results
just look at that shine!

it says not to use it on glass- but i have always done it anyway- look at the windows they are soo shiny clean
it also says you can use it on everything else- rubber- plastic, (i dont think there are any other parts besids metal...)

i usually go to walmart and get the 25 pack of microfiber for like 34 cents,
use one to apply and another to wipe off in about 10 minutes-
even in direct sunlight

heres a close up of the finish- and a sticker- its like a mirror

(these pics were taken with my iphone- so thats y they are over saturated
they are not edited after-= straight off)

so long story (really) short- if u want a good product go get it!
it works awesome on out NHBPs

Turtle Wax Ice liquid wax is really good. For paste (well, it's pasty) I use Meguiar's wax. It's not a liquid but it's not a solid paste. It oozes, and makes it really easy to apply.

CURSE YOU
i wanna go wax my car now, too. :-( but I've been WAAAAAY too busy with school.

the thing with pastes-

it takes about 35 years to get the white crap out of the little cracks ands hit
this ice is clear- i think it might just be baby oil bc thats what it feels like lol
ive used mcdonalds b4 too- not that great of a result

Just used the same stuff on my car yesterday worked really really really well. Only problem I had is got to much wax in the cracks around the mirror and handles and didn't get it out so when it poured to today ( which it still is pouring ) Some of it got out of the crack and left a streak down the side of the car which was easily cleaned up.

Cost $20 at Costco where I live. Just a hint of warning when using this. Make sure you wipe well when drying because this will leave a residue if you leave it to dry. Otherwise, it'll remove at least 80% of dirt from the car. I got 2 microfiber sponges from the last bottles, so I use them to apply swirl remover and wax.

heck yeah costco has the package deal

i bought that and the turtle car wash. man that ice car wash smells sooooo good. its so invigorating haha.

perfect combo if you use all of them. and then buy you a whole 32 set of microfiber towels to wash your ride.

all that for like under 40 bucks ish something like that. cheap!
