Finished up my detailing today

I finished the Fit up today, looks pretty good now. Coming from owning a solid black car to this color, it's good and bad. The good is that you can't see every little imperfection in the paint but the bad is that it just doesn't shine that well. Anyway, here was my process:

1. Wash with Prima Mystique, 2 bucket method with Grit Guard in soap bucket

2.Dry using "flooding" method and waffle weave towel

3.Polish entire car with Prima Swirl and Menzerna Intensive Polish using a PC7424 and various foam pads.

4.I went over the entire car again with Prima Amigo (glaze) with the PC and a black foam pad.

5. I then applied Menzerna FMJ by hand with foam applicator.

6. Lastly, I sealed it all with Duragloss Aquawax. The headlights and taillights also got FMJ and AW. The wheels got AW and the tires were treated with Zaino Z16. The weather was shitty out today so no outside pics, just in the garage.

Thumbs up

looks great! I have no clue what you mean by not shining enough, if you can see the metallic flakes, you did a pretty damn good job

thats true, but that nice new coat of wax keeps it from sticking as easily, or you could move to CT, they use sand
