wheel alignment help

hey whatsup guys

i had recently purchased my hnda fit about 4months ago

2 months into it i bought eibach springs sportline kit once i bought them i did not get a tire alignment and thats where the trouble started

im not an expert on hondas so i didnt know to get my tires aligned

anyways i went for a COUPLE WEEKS on the new springs and they wore my tires all the way down to bald and you could see the metal popping through

i decided to drive home from work from la to antelope valley through the crest which is about 60 miles and my left front tire popped

long story short had to buy 2 new front tires and new alignment ended up costing me like 300 to 400 dollars something like that

but they could not align the back for some reaspon so they just told me they would align the front

so i think i need a camber kit for my fit to fix all the problems and get everything back to normal anybody know where i could get one from

thankyou very much

sorry if my story is hard to understand but i just wanted to get it out there

dont forget to get your car aligned!

you cant adjust the rear and they should be able to align the front without the need for a camber kit

Correct you can't adjust the rear but with lowering springs installed in the front there is not enough adjustment in the stock suspension to align the front. You need to get the eccentric bolts and even they may not be enough to align the font with other than stock springs installed.

the bolts only allow you to adjust the camber which isnt bad enough to cause tire wear issues

camber isn't what causes your tires to wear so quickly it's toe.

When you lower your car you steering rack pushes out the wheels from the back making your toe in front point inwards. Driving for a long duration of time like that will cause your tires to go bald. Hence why you should align your car regardless of what type of car if you played with the suspension.

You didn't tell enough about what drop you did but here goes some advice:
1. You can adjust the rear alignment using shims between spindle to axle hub face.
2. Did you adjust the toe on the front after dropping?
Camber just as quickly wears out the tire as bad toe setting; likewise caster will too.
