Where to get a K&N drop in filter??
I can find them online, but no one local sells them. The dealer got me for $24.50 for a paper Honda filter and I don't know about anyone else's area, but none of the local auto parts stores around here sell any type of air filter for the Fit.
So I was thinking of going with a drop in K&N replacement. Other then the K&N website, anyone know where I can snag one for cheaper then $45.00? I thought someone might have a website with some crazy deals or something lol

Why don't you get a afe, oil-less filter, its washable.
ANd no oil to mess up your sensors!
I believe the make them for AEM to.

There isn't much maintenance. The filters are only supposed to be washed and completely reoiled when they are very dirty. This is usually 30,000+ miles of normal street driving. K&N has a "million mile warranty" so they will tell you to clean at 50,000 miles (filter life of 20 cleanings). The filters need to be completely dry before reoiling so that part can be a little inconvenient. They are only supposed to be inspected and any dry spots touched up sparingly with filter oil between the cleanings.
I got a drop-in for the Fit on eBay. It was $35.88 and $5.50 flat rate shipping.

power wise on drop in filters... not noticeable. Not even sure there is any other than your usual butt-dyno. Just makes your car breathes better. If you want to feel power/sound then I suggest going for short ram intakes or cold air.
