Smile Just replaced my windshield

I just replaced my own windshield.
I paid $110 for guardian glass, ppg, & safelite were
a few bucks more. Going labor for a windshield install is $75.
I hope no one gets ripped off and pays more then $200.

I discovered the molding that some people complain about
that causes all this wind noise has been redsigned.
You no longer need to use silicone! That flap is gone.

the new part number is 73150-SLN-003,
you can easily replace your windshield molding!
cost: $19.

A little tiny rock chip cracked my windshield.
I took it to 2 stealerships, and they wanted $600
to replace.
None of them would warranty it.

I didn't take any pictures, as the job was very simple and straight forward:

You just pull off the molding, then I took a long razor, and
cut thru the old silcone all the way around, and out came
the glass. I put the new molding on the windshield, cleaned the area & layed the silicone all around, and dropped the glass in, and your done!
