I terribly wanted to be there bet I have been physically messed up and not able to even leave the house in weeks.. The a heat has been too much for both my wife and myself.. What all I need to do on my car mat be the last of what I do unless I get someone around here that I can pay to give me a hand. The boy that has been giving me a hand escaped the heat by heading up up to Minnesota and his 16 cousin is a little to scattered to let handle tools and is wasted by the heat even more quickly than me... Blue Cell talking of an East Texas meet does make since http://www.visitpalestine.com/images/vp-title-page.jpg .. It is centrally locate from Austin, Houston and DFW... There are some great roads here and the Davy Dogwood Park is a beautiful place that has a one way road through it that is pleasant to drive through even at low speeds.

Hey, its totally understandable why you couldn't make it. If I wasn't feeling well I wouldn't have gone either. Maybe this next meet will be done around the north east to central east side of Texas, I haven't heard anything yet though.

During spring break I almost passed through Tyler and Palestine on the way back from visiting my dad in Louisiana but didn't because I didn't have a physical map and didn't want to fiddle with the little GPS. The roads on the route I did take though were very good though, nice elevation changes, bends, and scenery.

I want to send a special thanks to all of you who came out to show your support. Most of the Fit owners drove all the way down from Dallas, which I thought was pretty cool of you. It was a very long/hot day, but I hope everyone took home a few good memories.

Great meet guys, it was a lot of fun. I think I slept for 12 hours when I got home, lol. I'll have to add some photos later, too. I took about 500 pics during 2 days, so I've got a lot of work to do.

Hey Joe, how in the world did you read the japan part of J's Racing I see a kit for the GE that just came out and it looks pretty sick. Just wondering on how you buy stuff from there and how I can see how much it would cost in USD from JPY too. :/ but yea let me know ir if BlueCell knows Blue let me know plllllleeeease. Thanks guy and I had so much fun running with yall I couldn't stop. I hated having to leave cause that made me feel like I was part of a big Fit family living in one house lol. All the Fits in front of Saved's house was pretty funny. Thanks again Saved for letting me stay the night and reducing my chances of getting pulled over. Two of those ballasts didn't work but both bulbs do lol. So I got one 8K bulb and a 4-6K bulb lol I get heads turning even more now that I look like a kid with two diff eye colors. Haha. But yea again I thank yall for putting this together and thank the guys that came for making it a blast. Hope to see yall soon, I am thinking about hosting one in the Fall when it cools down a little and this heat isnt making everyone die. :/ but suggested areas would be nice, I know all of you guys are gonna say somewhere near yalls houses but somewhere inbetween Ft. Hood and Dallas, somewhere we can cruise down a long stretch of highway and go into Dallas and drive around Downtown or something and get pics going with the city buildings and stuff. I think that would be fun yea? Well if any of you guys have any good suggestions on like events to do, food, areas, etc. bring it on. I wish Steve could come down to Tx and bring his Fit Mugen Sport lol. That is pretty nice. But yea yea im dragging on sorry, hit me up with ideas guys.
P.S. I am going to try to post up some pics but they are not as good quality as these pro cams yall were using. :/ I need to get me one of those.

I can't believe I missed this! I hope it happens again sometime soon! I know it took a bit of a drive to get here for some. Any Houston area Fit owners want to have a small meet in the near future. Hey Hootie it's alright if it's just us to hang out. I'm ok big or small group. I've been crashing a scion group's weekly meet cause theres no Fit owners in my area that meet up. They just pretend I'm one of them. I even went to the all team meet at bear creek park and parked the fit with the group.

Its ok Ray, I was meaning to PM many of the Texas folk here several weeks prior to it but never got around to it due to school and work. /facepalm

It would be cool to have a small meet in the future... In fact, the 24 Hours of LeMons will be going on the 1st weekend of October at MSR Houston if I remember right so that would be a good place to possibly hit up. In addition to that, there are 3 more Red Meat & Race Fuel events held at MSR on the 22nd of Sept., as well as the 13th and 27th if October. Not too sure of any more local things going on in the area though.
