I have been happy with Carbotech Botcats for DD & A/X. Not dusty, good bite cold. A bit expensive though.

I feel exactly the same way. I think the details in the rules will determine which way I jump for the upcoming race season.

The rules should be released any day now. Should be very similar to Spec Miata... I'm just curious to see the specifics.

I would totally take part in this series if my GE8 had a MT and if I had another daily driver. I'm still going to track my GE8 next month. Just ordered a set of Project Mu HC+ brake pads.

Hopefully NASA also jumps on this quick with a very similar or slightly tighter ruleset. I don't think the aftermarket will move on this until they see both SCCA and NASA's official adoption. They'll want to make parts that are usable in both organizations.

But this is still huge and means our Fit's are for sure going to see some suspension love in the coming months. Anyone making suspension upgrades will want to "bring it" in terms of quality in the hopes of being adopted as official B-Spec parts when the rules start getting tighter in 2012-2013.

I just noticed that the gear ratios listed are for the Automatic Transmission! No mention of the manual ratios in the specs. Oversight? Intentional?

I'm thinking maybe those are minimum ratios, as the manual ratios are all taller than those listed.

Also, the 13lb weight restriction on 15x7 wheels makes RPF1's illegal.

I noticed the same.. A person can use really cheap (inexpensive) wheels and come out $400 bucks better off because of it.... Now everyone with Rotas and other wheels that have been labeled as "fake wheels" can legitimately refer to their wheels as racing wheels.
