I'm originally from Cebu City (went to University of San Carlos in high school) and was actively street racing (illegally) back then (1980s Reclamation Area) with a 2nd gen Lancer straight type (that's what we call it before LOL). I think it's when the time they finally legalized it is when I left Cebu
