Just updating; if I happen to go to this meet I will not be able to stay too long. I have to be at work at 4 o'clock and its about an hour 15 min drive from there to Houston.

Also, just in case it is raining that Saturday; do we just meet at the alley?

I heard it was supposed to rain most of the week down here (40 miles south of Houston), but I don't know much about the weather in Houston. We will see when the time comes.

 

If it rains we'll play it by ear. If we have to hang out in the bowling alley so be it. We can always snap a shot or two when it stops raining

 

I will be there for sure... Even if it does rain.

Yeah weather has been a bad factor for us this year. SO thats why i picked an indoor location for this meet. So we could get together no matter what the weather.

^ yeah mine is filthy, no choice with the weather like this. I'm kind of bummed b/c I wanted to get it detailed, but never mind. it's the fellowship that counts.

I was right next to a VBP yesterday and he was smiling at me...probably saw the plates/3rd brake light/fitfreak.net sticker. I waved real big at him! I know he noticed even through my side window tint. I figured out that about half the people I wave to just don't notice b/c of the tint. It's not that they are snobby or anything. Of course most people aren't freaks about the car like we are, they just bought a Honda that was cheap and gets good gas mileage!

Anyway I will be there unless something really dire comes up. But closer to 2:30.

Hey it was great meeting some new Fitfreaks! Ashley, your Fit was hot sauce! Love the BOM. Fernando, welcome to Houston, again, you're gonna love it here, people are so friendly and nice. And yeah, we all have guns. (not really, I don't, but I want to.) Victor, your Fit was clean and sweet. Juan it was nice to meet you. Hopefully you'll come to our next meet.

Marcus, I've never actually seen your car moving before, I was amazed at how strong it sounds. Adam, yours sounds great too, I wish mine could be turbo'd. Hope you enjoyed Fudd's. And I hope you all went back and bowled or something fun. Thanks for the compliments, Adam, although I teased you a little (I do that with people I like a lot).

Sorry more people didn't show up but that's the way it goes. I hope next time we can do Austin and make it a weekend full of freakish activities!
