Middletown, NY Honda Car Show, June 7
Hi folks! I've been a Honda enthusiast since 92 when I bought my first Accord. I currently own several Honda cars, the "flagship" being my S2000.
As an avid "Honda guy", and new in the Middletown, NY area, I am putting on a Honda and Acura car show to meet other enthusiasts.
We will have a wide variety of cars at the show including S2000s, S600s and S800s, a Beat, Civics, Accords, and many more.
We would LOVE to have some Fits as well, or any other Honda/Acura models. If you would like more information you can download the show flyer by clicking here.
The show is Sunday, June 7 from 10 am to 2 pm. It's very informal and there is no fee to attend.
Thanks for your time!
Ellen

Great we will be glad to have you!
I work at Formula H part time to supplement my web business income (NY is expensive!). I've known the owner more than 12 years and would get my servicing done at Formula H even if I didn't work there
Also wanted to say, please feel free to invite anyone else that you may know with any Honda or Acura vehicle or motorcycle.
And if you have promotional material about the Fit club you are welcome to give that out to other owners as well.

In addition, because I don't have enough car stuff going on ;-)
Cars and Coffee meets are big in many places around the US. People who love cars show up, have coffee, and chat with other enthusiasts. This is a low key "hang out" event, nothing that attracts police attention will be tolerated!

if the weather is good i'll stop by on the 2nd.
I actually was up that way this past Saturday and stopped by the shop. Wanted to get an o2 bung welded on the stock cat but they said they don't do that kind of stuff. Actually they don't deal that much with boosted cars according to the person i spoke with. I do have a local mechanic that i trust somewhat but i have to double check all there work (which i would probably do anyway).
Very professional shop wish they were more performance oriented.

Thanks guys, glad to see some interest. Joe (the svc advisor) told me someone with a "tricked out" Fit stopped by :-D
We don't do much performance stuff at Formula H. Mostly maintenance and repairs.

Hrm, I may come. I was at Formula H a few years back with my early Civic to see the S-Car meet. I'll check the schedule and see if I can make it.
Would you be the same Ellen (Ellen Emerson) who used to live in Vermont with the Prelude?

Good to see you're still in the Honda scene, I haven't heard from you in a while. I met you twice, once at the s-car meet, and again at the Carlisle show when you brought your Prelude. I think that was the year brake problems on my Civic caused me to come without an Import car. Think you may be able to make it to Carlisle this year? If your Prelude can't make it, bring a S-Car. See if you can borrow one from Brian if need be

Yes, I remember meeting you Glad to see you are another buyer of both old and new Hondas I've had nothing but Honda cars since 1992, and I don't see that changing any time soon
I can't attend any events that require a hotel stay this year. I have NO money at all for anything other than (hopefully) a down payment on my S2000 buyout loan, which I need to have in place REALLY soon.
The Prelude is 5 hours north of me, so I'd have to drive there, 5 hours home, then another 4-5 hours south to Carlisle and then repeat the process after the show because (as previously noted) I do NOT have storage for the Prelude where I live!
I might come with the S2000 next year, IF my loan is approved and I still have the car, and if my finances allow for affording a hotel If the S loan is not approved the Prelude will come here to live with me but that will probably mean that finances did not improve so... who knows?! Life is crazy at the moment
