Phoenix international car show.
I dont know if anyone visited the Phoenix international car show that has been going on for the last few days, but i went today and was very surprised that Honda didnt bring the Fit to the show. There were a few concept cars, it seems like it would have been the perfect time to let the public see the Fit.....Why didnt they?

It has been stated several places including Honda PR that the first look at the new U.S. Fit model will be at the North American Auto show (you know the big one that means something) in Detroit after the first of the year.

just some wild guesses:
*if* the spec of Fit is really 32/37 mpg as stated at the front page, then it is not a good time to go public with these figures (since the new civic is 30/40). they can retune the engine to achieve better figures.
or they do not want to do anything to affect the sales of new civic since some features of Fit/Jazz, in my opinion, can really attract some civic buyers.
