What happened to Siphon Time Attack class?
#2
We've actually never had a class specifically for the B-Segment vehicles. We've always felt that the B-Segment vehicles should simply run in the FWD divisions, and compete with the rest of the FWD cars out there.
Take some weight out of a Fit, install a Turbo, supercharger or do a K Swap, and that car will be just as competitive as the other vehicles in Street FWD.

i was wondering what was the original specs for the siphon class. i thought it was any of the b segment cars yaris, fit, versa, xa. i guess what ever would classify in japan as a b segment car. oh well. i kind of looked forward to seeing the innovation minus the k swap. oh well.

here's an idea...
stage your own b-class cup car racing event at your local track. the jap's have been doing that for years. they buy inexpensive cars and rally them or road race them against other cars of similiar sort. hold stock production class runs and tuned or "outlaw" class runs. i've thought this over for awhile now, been thinking about how much fun it would be to organize this. i could go to all the websites for subcompact enthusiasts for the fit, yaris,Xa,Xd&Xb,aveo(i'd love to kick one those aveo's arses). you could even hold an "O.G. subcompact" class. invite all the legends like the suzukis, geos, daihatsu, etc. sounds like a blast. call it something like "eco run 2009" or "saved but wasted:subcompact fury"
