Irvine Cars and Coffee Saturday Mornings
Hey ya'll as you some of you guys may know Irvine has their early morning Cars and Coffee meets. I made this thread in hopes that some people would like to organize a little fit caravan to come out to these once in a while. They're every Saturday Morning located at: Gateway, Irvine, California.
They start nice and early at 6AM the earlier you get there the easier it will be to find parking. Post up if you're planning to go on a certain saturday and maybe we can get a group together.
Just a thought
Anyone down for this Saturday? Feb. 18th?

Irvine Cars and Coffee is great, but I'd say it starts more at 6am than 7am if you want to see the cars roll in, which can be pretty orgasmic.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think 6:00am cars are rolling in, and 9:00am-10:00am cars are rolling out.

That's what I said before, but trust me it is worth it once in a while. I usually go home and pass out for a couple of hours after the meets, or go to breakfast/brunch with the girlfriend, then pass out.
There are all kinds of motor vehicles there: lifted trucks, model T Fords, bicycles, motorcycles, american muscle, it goes on forever. I never see any modified Fits there though.
It's a really good, well-behaved crowd too, not as young as the typical SoCal import meet culture. Please, please act like responsible adults at this meet. It's like a classy, free morning car show with families and working professionals. We don't want to represent ourselves and the Honda/import crowd as immature children.
It's definitely a great idea to check it out if you haven't been here before. Some Saturdays have better turnout than others, it just depends on which crews/forums decide to have a presence on a particular weekend. Porsches typically show up in numbers at these. It's not uncommon, on the 5 freeway, to see a caravan of Porches (usually speeding) or other makes on the way to Cars and Coffee.
The only downside I can think of is that after you go to a few of these, you start to notice that a lot of the cars are the same ones from the previous meets. So you just wait a few months, then go again.
As you can see, I love Cars and Coffee. I'll try to make one of these weekends if you guys are going, it has been a while.

yeah i've gone a handful of time before by myself. I'm the only modded fit there and i get a lot of friendly remarks. Think about it this way, they rarely see jdm style cars so it stands out. and definitely act like responsible car owners. noooo rice.

I've seen Fits, but always in the structure. The Fit isn't a "main lot" type of car.

I'm down for CC, I use to go all the time with my Mustang friends but this will be a first in my new Fit
I have to get up real early to make it down south from Santa Monica but if I'm feeling better by Sat I'm in.
I also go to Super Car Sunday in Woodland Hills on Sunday's but it has a later start at around 8am
always lots of cool peeps and cars.My Mustang buddies still don't know I traded in my 2011 5.0 for my 2012 Fit Sport

I always park in the main lot when I go. If you're an enthusiast, that's where you park. The structure is for late arrivals who can't fit in the main lot, or purely spectators who have nothing to contribute.

Damn, wish I lived near that area... I've only heard stories of the meets. If you live in the area and don't go just cause the early wake up time than somethings wrong with you...
Some of us would love the opportunity to go just once! Enjoy so cal peeps! And snap some pics for the rest of us!
