Highly recommend California Tint on Rosemead Blvd. in Rosemead, CA 91770. I had these guys do my sidemarkers, tint, remote-start alarm and everything is TOP NOTCH work. It's ALWAYS crowded here and there is no shortage of high class BMW / Benz / Lexus here.

+2 on California Tint. Every car I've had goes there for tinting. Great customer service and quality workmanship. But best piece of advice any of us can give to you, GO THERE EARLY! They only do a certain amount of cars a day, so you have to show up before it opens.

+3 for Cali Tint I've recommended them to every single one of my friends who has ever asked me about where to get their windows tinted. Quality work and price. I think they start off $120-135 as their base price? I don't know for sure, I got hooked up. Lifetime warranty ftw!

i do NOT recommend california tint. they bend both of my front window's weather strip. i had to basically beg the dealer to do it under "warranty". called california tint and they said they weren't going to fix it...i even talked to Peter. He straight up told me, we don't get that many fits in here so maybe it was a new thing they put on for your design.

i rather pay a little more and go to pro-tint across from hometown buffet plaza on rosemead. parents did their cars there and no problems or issue. jeff is a great guy at pro-tint.

i talked to the service manager and after 1 hour of discussion dealer agreed to do it. they will write it under "warranty" repair when it wasnt a warranty fault.

*note, the weather strips were fine on the car for 9 months..but after new tint was put on, it was bent.

I took my GE8 there when I first bought it in Oct 08... Peter called it a Mazda5. That was so depressing but didn't have any problems with them missing up my weather stripping. Even replaced my driver side tint cause I saw light scratches for free lol

super quality work, dude is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about his work. FYI, he shares space with JIC Racing Magic so you can sneak peek some sick rides too while you're there

went to Cali tint today.. got my front tint removed to get my citation written off. (Officer didn't even bother coming out and checking)
Went around 2-3pm and they removed it right away got it written off and went back to put it back on. Also super real quick

I plan on tinting my fit. But I want the mirror-like tint on the rear of the car and clear on the front windows just to cut down on UV light that damages the interior.

Anyone has any experience with silver/smoke color tint? It's legal on the back, right?

Pro Tint in Temple City. Ask for Jeff. I'll even go with you since he knows me. I've been going there for tint since 2003.
