I wouldn't feel comfortable racing a car that I don't own. I'll just finish the DC2 and compete next year.

What about a race discount? Pricing seems to be about $100 more than what im used to paying to run the ROVAL.

@ JDMCHRIS

The standard price is $500 for the weekend.

If you sign up online, we apply an Online Registration Discount of $50.

If this is your first 2-day event registration with us this season, we deduct another $100. That brings the cost of participation for 2-day down to $350. For the amount of track time you will receive, and the high quality of the track time, that is absolutely the lowest price you will ever find for a Roval weekend at Auto Club Speedway.

Also keep in mind that price includes timing & scoring for no additional fee. Most other groups charge $20-$30/day for rental of a timing transponder.

We've been hosting track events at Auto Club Speedway since 2005, and keep tabs on what other groups are charging. These are the lowest prices we have ever offered, and certainly below what other groups charge. When taking everything into account: amount of track time, timing and scoring, professional management of the event, additional safety crews, properly staffed, etc., this weekend is by far the best bang-for-the-buck offer you'll see.

Not so bad, Might want to update the first thread with the discounts you mentioned, cause what it looked like to me was First Season 2day registration is $400, doesnt mention any $50 discount for online purchase. But $350 For the weekend isnt Bad

jes came back from a SCC (SoCalCivic) meet and sum of those guys r plannin on participating @ the end of the month too! im really hoping sum of you guys/gals actually have the cajones to actually go out there and show them how insane our fits are at handling!

seriously though, it doesnt matter if you're a total noob/novice or frequent the touge everynite, RTA (redlinetimeattack) has FREE instructors that not only offer a literal CLASSROOM instruction, but they will actualy RIDE along with you in your car or even drive your car with you if your super nervous or confused! after each session, you come back into the classroom for these "download-sessions" where not only does the instructor that rode with you gives you feedback, but the other instructors that are watching over the track also gives you their feedback as well! If you honestly think about it, FREE PERSONAL INSTRUCTION and FREE DIGITAL LAP TIMING... pretty awesome deal when compared to other associations and trackdays.
