Probably putting in new springs. Happened to me too b/c i've never done a spring install before.

If you can't work it back in, you'll need to break the clamp on the cv boot, pull back the boot, and then line the bearings up into their slot. That's what I had to do. It sucks, but at least I learned from my mistake!

EDIT: If you do this, please be sure to repack with the appropriate grease and install a new, appropriate clamp.

Um, ask a friend or someone to help you next time. I cant really help you with that. Sorry!

anyways, yeah my axle popped out too when i did my install

search the forum there was a couple of threads with a bunch of hints 'n tips on getting the axle back in.

Is there a diagram i can see to understand which one is the boot and hat tools I'll need?

pictures?!?! Its not much work, you can do it yourself. I did it with my brother on a eg civic I had a while back. I'm sure there's diagrams around the internet. check here to see if you can find a diagram. http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/

The boot is the ribbed rubber fitting that goes over the two axle pieces. You only need something to cut the clamp (we used pliers/wire cutters) and whatever tool is required to put on the new clamp.
