I got my Nighthawk Black Pearl from Carson Honda on April 25.

I paid MSRP + Tax + Title + Registration.

No Destination and got a free alarm because of a color mix up (Over the phone I asked if they have a Vivid Blue Base AT Model and they said yes and they were selling it for MSRP. But when I got there they thought I asked for the Lunar Mist, so they said if I bought any car that day I would get a deal for my troubles.)

Picked up my Fit Sport AT5 in Tafetta White yesterday from Goudy Honda in Alhambra. I was in and out of the place in approximately 45 minutes. I paid $16391.26 + TTL, or $18k OTD.

With that price it sounds like he paid invoice for the car and didn't have to pay the destination fee.

Edmunds Los Angeles area approx figures:

MSRP: $15,970 + $595 (destination charge) = $16,565

Invoice: $15,392 + $595 = $15,987

edit--Above figures for 07 Auto Sport

I'm just happy for the peeps that did so well in the negotiating, considering the difference between the invoice and MSRP is not that much

I paid $18,686 OTD. I got a White Sport AT with mats, wheel locks, cargo cover and the applique thingy.

My advice is to stay away from Gardena Honda. (I didn't buy mine there) They wanted $21,000 and I told them they were on crack. They came back with a paper that had a "deal" for me. $21,500 but they'd give me a discount and knock it down to $21,000! I told them I wasn't that stupid and that's the same offer as 3 minutes ago. I finally walked and they offered me a Black SPORT AT for $18,750 OTD with nothing on it but the wheel locks. I continued out the door and didn't look back. They are evil.
