Tri-City Meet 2010
#41
Hey guys.. newbie here.
Sounds like a fun meet and I would love to join.
I do have a suggestion... Being that most here do
not care for AutoToys too much, I suggest Elysian
Park.
I went to the 1st KMH meet there and absolutely LOVED the spot.
It's got good parking and would make for some good shots.
From there, we could caravan to get food.
Just an idea....

Sorry for the lack of update guys. I was supposed to be away for 3 months on business but things came up and I had to return. Also, I just got engaged so I have been busy with that and courting my fiancee. I will get back with updates but I'm thinking end of April of first week of may.

To give people more of a chance to prep their cars we will most likely do this on May2nd so it can be on a sunday. I saw the ideas on locations and they are looking good. I think by end of next week we will have it all set but you can count on it being on the 2nd of May.
April 24th sounded good but I think it's a tad to close. Set your calendars on May 2nd. Now we need to get locations and times figured out and hopefully have it set in stone by end of next week.

I was thinking of maybe having several caravans to this. I was talking to my friend who also has helped me in the past few years and he recomended the following to change things up a bit:
[SD/OC caravan]
San Diego:
--Meet at a spot in San Diego and caravan to a spot in Orange County
Orange County:
--Wait for the San Diego caravan at a predetermined spot and caravan to the meet.
[High Desert/IE Caravan]
Palmdale/Landcaster:
meet locally and caravan to Victorville/Hesperia Location
Victorville/Hesperia:
wait at a predermined spot for Palmdale guys and then caravan to the meet.
[South Bay/Los Angeles Caravan]
Los Angeles:
meet up and caravan to South Bay (San Pedro/LBC area) and meet up with that caravan.
South Bay:
(Long Beach/SP area) meet at a predermined spot and wait for L.A guys and caravan to the meet.
At Meet:
All organized caravans will eventually meet at a location which will be our main meet. We can chill, snap shots, socialize and if it ends up being at a eating spot...well...eat.
Photoshoot:
Then once everyone shows up, and we want to move we can go for a cruise (which we need help plannning a good route for 100+ cars) and enjoy the day and meet up at our photoshoot location (in which we need still).
So what do you guys think? I think it can be fun. Kinda like a mini cannonball run type of thing (but without the 150MPH tickets of course :x )
