GENERAL CHEMISTRY HW HELP!! due at 12AM MIDNITE!
Enter text here.An acid solution is 0.120 M in HCL and .210 M in H2SO4, what volume of a .150 M KOH solution would have to be added to 500.0 mL of the acidic solution to neutralize completely all of the acid?
any freakin cluee how to do this!??!?!?:confused ::confused : ive been working for like 2hours on this. its due online at 12pm so any quick help would be very appreciated! ill let u have a import tuner magazine or something lol

hope this help........
0.5000 litres @ 0.120mol/litre = 0.0600 moles of HCl, which releases 0.0600 moles of H+ ion
0.5000 litres of 0.210 mol/litre = 0.105 moles of H2SO4, which releases 0.210 moles of H+ ion
0.210 & 0.060 = a total of 0.270 moles of H+ ion
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
0.270 moles of H+ ion needs 0.270 moles of OH- ion
0.270 moles of OH- ion @ 0.150 mol/litre = 1.80 litres of KOH
your answer: 1.80 litres of 0.150 M KOH
0.5000 litres @ 0.120mol/litre = 0.0600 moles of HCl, which releases 0.0600 moles of H+ ion
