Hello Fitfreaker's and fellow San Diegan's..

Does anyone know of any REPUTABLE yet AFFORDABLE TINT shops around San Diego County.. !?

Yeah, I got 2 of my cars done here and they do some quality work. It's in the hood of San Diego, but these guys will take care of you.

My mom's Sienna Van was around $150 for all windows except for the front 2. So for your Fit it should be around there for all windows.

If they ask who sent you just say a guy named Sidney on the forums. They'll give you like a 10% off card to give to me, but whatevers, lol.

if you are, or have a friend thats cool, the tint shop at Naval Station is where I got my fit done for a good price. good work too.

 

my friend is in the Army and he is active.. is that cool?

 

It doesn't matter what branch at all. In fact, the tint shop is sorta by the gas station, and there isn't a sentry standing to check who goes into that part at all typically. But if in doubt, roll on over there with your Army friend. Active, reserve, retired, just in case anyone over there wants to see an military ID. When I got my Fit tinted the guy at the counter didn't charge for the front sail windows.

That's the place if you wanna give a call and price them. Definitely shop around though, and don't be afraid to let them know another place can do it for cheaper then them if their first price is higher.

 

About Progressive...I know how much they've charged for a few tint jobs and I've actually gotten a quote from them for the front windows including the small ones up front and it was somethin ridics. They're also at MCAS Miramar if that's closer to you...i would definitely check them out cuz they do quality work with quality material (Solar Guard) but IMO you could prolly find a better deal.

 

yeah i got mine at digi sports too. umm 9 windows for 180 or something like that.

 

180? They quoted me 220... they probably knew I was a whiteboy

 

Got my tint done here... pretty good (if a bit pricey)
Turns out the guy who works there used to go to my high school (Crawford!)

I'd recommend, they're open every day 9-6.
