if the "experts" are right, my "Fit is Go" will become "Fit Go Bye-Bye." lightweight coupe, RWD, 2.0L boxer engine, and around 16k.. that's a formula for success in my book
::EDIT::
this isn't the exact article i read but a quick google search spit this out

i can't find the article right now, but i remember reading on jalopnik.com that "experts" are speculating that the next generation tC will be rwd and that it could possibly be the toyota/subaru joint coupe

Toyota/Subaru coupe could surface in U.S. as next Scion tC

i mean look at the celica gt-s... the "affordable" toyota sports car of its time... started at 22k...
*edit* IF it were going to replace the current tc... 18k most likely

yeah, i think my pricing info may be garbled.. i wouldn't be surprised if i mixed that number up with another car i read about.
BUT if speculation becomes truth and the toyobaru coupe it is the 2nd gen tC, $16k shouldn't be too far off -- a current base tC starts at that price. also, what if the toyobaru coupe opens a new price bracket for an affordable RWD coupe? no competition = monopolized market.. meh, my mind is in the stars. that's what i'm hoping for but i won't hold my breath till it happens

well toyota needs to step it up and live up to a lot of what they say.. im still waiting on a new MR2... lol
well i mean.. the current tc is no where near a sports car... maybe a sporty subcompact... the si is more of what this new purposed car will be competing against... 2.0, 200 hp, LSD... i think its more of a sports car then the tc...
again the SI is about 22k...
maybe (when im ballin.. lol) i can take on a new project... MRk20fit? hahahah im guessing theres enough room to mount that baby longitudinal...
