okay, for OC people, we'll meet up @ Super Autobacs Stanton at 1:30pm (rollout by 2'ish) and then head up to Gardena after that! LA people can either meet up with OC if they want, or just meetup @ Tea Station in Gardena!

If you guys want a good and fun drive, and are bored with having meets in the OC, may I suggest a good meeting spot/drive?

The Tea Station in Gardena is a good place to meet up with some really good boba drinks. Parking is amble and it's near the freeways so you can jump on the 101 North and head to Topanga Canyon Blvd for an awesome drive down winding roads, at the end of the drive you will be treated to an eye-opening view of the Pacific Ocean. You can then enjoy a very smooth and winding drive along Pacific Coast Highway towards LAX and jump back on the freeway to head home or to a second hangout spot.

The trip takes about 2hrs with brisk pace, but it's one of the best trip/drive i've ever enjoyed.

I suggest taking the Old Topanga Canyon Blvd detour since it is much more enjoyable than the somewhat "straight forward" Topanga Canyon Blvd. I can map it all out with Google Maps if anyone wants to try this route.




My experience was much more amazing because it was showering and I was driving behind a 2009 Nissan GTR for the fun parts of the trip!! Apparently the driver and I had the same idea of "weekend fun." He was probably one of the famous residents of the canyon going to LAX for a trip.

i just noticed that GTR skyline picture was right in front of my school on LMU dr. lol, i saw that skyline like 3 times already, the exact same one

 

i think it would be pretty cool if we met up at dockweiler beach like last time, i couldnt go last time, but it was a pretty big turnout

 

I`m down for anything ... since I`ll be up in the area on monday... Dockweiler Beach would be good... I grew up in Play Del Ray.... easy to find for me...

 

Dockweiler beach? where's that? Hmm, i'm not gona lie, that topanga canyon seems prtty ill! I've only been thru it once with club4ag back in the day, but i was on my crotch rocket! And dave's gona b in town 2? sounds like a 4sure now!

I have an appointment with Honda at 10am tomorrow, and will be finished around noon. You guys can meet/hang out anywhere, if I can catch up with you guys afterward then i will join. If i can't make it, here's the direction for the Topanga Canyon blvd:

From the OC:
Take the 405 N, connect to the 101 West, exit Topanga Canyon Blvd. Go west (turn left) at the off-ramp and head south on Topanga Canyon Blvd towards Mullholland Dr.
From here you can do 2 things:
1) Take TC blvd all the way down to HWY 1 South to get back to the OC. This route is very straight forward and no less fun than the other road.

2) Make a RIGHT at Mulholland Dr, then LEFT at Old Topanga Canyon, from then it's a more winding/interest way down. There's a lot of back roads to explore if anyone wishes to. The old TC blvd will connect back to TC blvd, make a RIGHT at TC blvd and head South towards PCH..

From LA:
Depends on where you are, TC blvd is off the SR - 101 Ventura Freeway. Exit at Topanga Canyon Blvd and follow the directions above.
