Where to install HID?
I just got my 6k HID from xenith xenon, but I have no idea how to
install it. Some people say it's very easy to install, but I suck at installing. I'm looking for a shop in socal so they can install it for my fit. Does anyone have know a shop or an idea?

i can also help you if you need it, i've installed hid Fogs on a BMW, Integra low beams, and i figured out the wiring for my buddy's quad-hid retrofit system for his civic SI. Feel free if PM me if you need anything.

or you can ask the original person that helped the person that wrote the DIY for the help.
to the original poster, if u want, bring it 2 my house. I've installed 6 xenith kits on fits at my house and can do it in like an hour-ish. I just finished installing a kit onto sosoqtpinoy's car. Just bring a large caramel frappuchino with whipped cream.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't you still need to change the light assembly itself with lenses designed for HID's in order to focus the light and keep from blinding the rest of the world? That's a lot tougher, yes?

I installed the XX HID's following the DIY, took around an hour. This is by myself, having no prior experience working with ANY car's lighting systems or taking off the bumpers etc. Just make sure you calibrate the lights so the HID's serve a purpose - the default position of the lights gave me like 10 feet before the cutoff.

If you can wait, I suggest brining it to the Pann Auto wrench meet. There will be many Fit owners who can help you with the install. A few days ago I installed HID foglights into my brother's Nissan Altima Coupe. It's basically plug and play. Good luck.

True it a plug and play but for clean installation we rip open the whole front end.....unlike the Altima where the lights easy to get to....I have installing a lot HID on different car over the past few years....and the Fit is the one that take the longest for me....

Yes and no....and it call retrofit......even with retrofit you can still blind the person and plus it depend on the temp you get too...but some HID they have shield to reduce the glare and also it depend on the housing too....
