I can understand their concern since they are parents and own the home. And good call on not arguing. haha. That just never seems to go over well since they have the final word on such matters regardless of if their actually right or wrong.

Seriously you have a great location and nobody was blocking traffic, blasting music, spinning burn outs or making a mess-well I can't comment on the oven or fumes in the backyard- So I don't know what dad's beef was, but at least we got some work done.

 

Your parents mean well no matter how paranoid they may seem. I use to think the same of my parents until i had my own kids....Enjoy your youth... Time sure goes by fast...

Well I respect parents no matter what because they made you what you are today, but the point is that IF what accordguy said was true about his parents accepting the 12 fits or so that was on the list at the time of my post commenting on how we need a 100% answer with no bullshit to the parents. Then his parents should not be respected no matter what because they lied to us when they knew what was going to happen. Therefore, I hate to say it, but accordguy screwed us all over if he even mentioned the meet to his parents with 4 fits...

And to add, thank you gimme for being so helpful contributing so much to the meet even though you got screwed over

i apologize... i guess i didnt really understand in my little head how many fits 16 really is, i've had people over to install stuff on their car with no issues before so i thought it would be okay this time around as well. But i guess any parent cant be happy coming home to see an entire driveway covered in cars that cant even move. They're pretty over it now, but their still mad because i forgot to wake up last nght to bake the headlights so now i gotta go try and peice together what i think are my headlights. I apologize on my behalf for not properly informing my parents and the fact that they all asked you to leave... well not even ask, forced! If you guys ever do another wrench meet and i finally have a job by then, i'll chip in 100 bucks for food and beer... Im really sorry guys i didnt want it to go down that way. NEVER hosting a wrench meet again, my parents made it clear last night =/

all in all, i did have fun meeting all of you and it is an experience i will never ever forget.
