u want stiff? Tanabe GF210. I know for a FACT that they are stiffer then both the teins and the eibach sportlines. I'm riding on them and the ride comfort ain't that bad but that's what i sacrificed when i lowered the vehicle. However, i gained LOTS of stability and tightness in turning. =]

here are some photos of my car on stock 15s and aftermarket 17s with the eibach sportlines... you guys with your "spring rates." haha all i looked at when i bought my springs was drop level. i knew i'd be sacrificing ride comfort but gaining performance and visual appeal, so who cares how stiff they are!
anyway, here you go.

as far as running a 17-inch wheel with a 42 offset, you might rub if you drop. my wheels (the black w/ red lip) are 40 offset and i rubbed like crazy. i've heard of other people with 42 offset rubbing also. (i think kamiwannabe is running +42 and he was complaining about rubbing). the largest offset you can do without rubbing (as far as I know) is 45. i'm back to running stockies right now, and i have no issues with rubbing at all. also, it's lower with 15s than with 17s.

because the tire + rim height of the 17's are taller then the tire + rim height of the 15's. height i mean from the ground to the top of the tire.
