giving respect where it's due, margarito did survive a beating. i was surprised he didn't go down in the 8th after manny's 6 punch combination AND margarito continued to fight even with a shattered eye socket. but c'mon, manny is a midget and he took down a fighter who had a clear height, reach, weight, and strength advantage. margarito was out boxed that night; manny landed 411 punches on margarito's face alone with 55% power punch accuracy. no argument about that. to top it all off, in the 11th and 12th round manny pulled his punches to avoid any further injury to margarito. you actually see manny signal to the referee on more than one occasion to stop the fight.

you might not like him but manny pacquiao is a good/humble person and a monster in the ring.... he can't sing or act for shit though lol

i dont hate or dislike pacquiao at all, just kind of a jab at my nationality.. since pacquiao pretty much demolished all of the mexican fighters lol. and all my flip friends from school have to rub it in everywhere haha... that night of the fight, like 20 people were updating their statuses -_______-.. Philipinos have alot of pride for their country LOL you guys might have the best fighter in the world... but mexicans got the prettiest lady in the universe <3 haha jk

Also, Margarito doesnt know when to quit lolol. Hes always been that fighter with a steal punching bag chin..

not gonna lie, i can also (occasionally) be part of the pacquiao fanboy club lol.... BUT i'm also a huge fan of the sport and will always give credit where it's due -- honestly, i HATE watching the fight with my family because they're ignorant jackasses when it's fight night -__- i think filipinos put pacquiao on a pedestal because he's the only celebrity mainstream personality representing our country in a good way lmao

same here, my family just screams and yells in spanish (usually jokes about how pacquiao is gonna get raped etc etc) when the fight is on... usually when its a pacquiao fight, it starts all confident saying "oh yeah pacquiao is finally gonna get his ass whipped by Insert mexican fighter's name here" then halfway through the fight once pacquiao wins like 6 rounds in a row, they say "aww i knew insert mexican fighter's name here was gonna suck, i hope he gets KOd" haha

amir/pacquiao would be a dooooooooooope fight! i was watching their sparing videos, before manny developed the right and started punching from impossible angles, and (for his size) amir's hands are just as fast as manny's. hard to tell whether amir's youth is an advantage or disadvantage against manny's experience.
