Just remember, the closer it is to bone the more it will hurt. My wife got a tattoo also on her back just below the neckline. It's a double infinity knot.

Keep in mind, filling in SUCKS. Outlines are nothing. It's like a really long back cat scratch.

If you guys find a good artist let me know. I want to do my next tattoo befor summer.

hey charlie... is his name aleks? just opened a shop like a year ago in lb?

mike... u should see my best friend's dad's back... they're hawaiian... he's got the islands going from his back over the shoulder to the front, and a whole slew of other things... i think he has a hawaiian warrior somewhere there too... he goes to nathan's tattoo in the valley...

350 isnt bad for that kind of tat... shit if i was in maui and wanted to get a tat i'd be willing to spend that much

i actually like filling better then outlining... btw

dela - nah.. he's been doing tats for a really long time, according to Dino. Dino got his first tat from that guy in late 2002 or early 2003 - i can't remember

mike - people keep telling me that tats near the bone hurt except for the elbow area because it's not very sensitive to begin with.

here's a quick rough draft of what i'll get (eventually)

That is sick and I so want to jack that LOL.

Making the crispy pork and Kang Kong tonight. I messed up the first time because I didn't boil the pork first. Gonna boil it this time and then deep fry it with a coating of corn starch. Should come out fine.

yeah aleks has been doin it for awhile.. but only recently opened his own shop... he got featured in a tat mag awhile back...

since its simple enough.. and there not a lot of shading to deal with... i'd say ur best bet (price wise) is a tat expo... if anything print it out to size and they can just trace it out on carbon paper... so it'll be exactly what you want...

LMAO, thanks
i still gotta work on it, i really want it to look just like a drop shadow; i got the idea from a friend's tat. i might have to hand sketch it then render it on the computer for cleaner lines and proportions.. the final product should be siiiiiick

mmMmMmm.. your dinner is making my stomach growl. it reminds me of the way my parents used to prepare their mungo (sp?). they always served it with a side of lechon kawale or deep fried pork belly [drools]
