^^ same here. i actually LOVE my job and luckily my department only has four people in it: myself, manager, and two other production artists. it's up to me and the other two production artists to put together two magazines per week. i can't imagine them downsizing our department, we're already shorthanded as is.

BUT, in this economic climate, no one's job is secure

I was shocked when my wife came home and surprised me that she's actually getting a bonus this year. Not a bad one either. My work won't do that.

I was trying to use my Jedi Mind Tricks and convince her to let me get rims with it but it's not working.

BTW, those serious about looking for work let me know, there are openings here but our work generally won't make them public. They prefer to hire through refferals or people found by their recruiters.

Good morning! Unfortunately I ran over a pothole from hell. There was no room for evasion since there was a curb to the right and a car to the left. The front passenger side wheel/tire was the victim. The wheel seems undamaged, but the tire sidewall was damaged. There's a huge bump on the side. Looks like I'll be getting a new Bridgestone Turanza EL470 this weekend. I'm glad I wasn't dropped. I would've done some damage to the body/suspension for sure. I need to lift the car up to check on the suspension to see if there are any damages. All in all... I hate potholes.

That's why I love my hours 5:30-2:30

Beat traffic both ways. Except Fridays when traffic starts early.

Ahh... I know just how you feel. You're not on low profile tires, are you? Cuz I am, and every confrontation with potholes are scary. I get paranoid when I see a pothole now. LOL.

Nope. I'm running on stock tires. 185/55/16. I'm actually glad the aspect ratio is so high. If I was on 45s... I would've damaged the wheel for sure.
