I haven't properly introduced myself. I'm Mike and I live in West Covina. I like to say Walnut Adjacent. My wife and I just got our 09 fit. Base model auto. She didn't want to learn to drive a stick.

My other car is a 2000 Civic sedan that died after a lube shop convinced me to do an engine flush. I am currently trying to get them to pay for it.

Only mods done are the USDM visors which I prefer tot he older style visors. Next will be center armrest and then shoes.

i never trusted those engine flush procedures. is it the same one that uses seafoam? there's some fool preaching seafoam saying it doesn't do damage and is part of regular maintenance .. if i remember right he ran seafoam through his Fit at 20k miles

Well the Civic had HEAVY mileage. Like 118k. It was at the Mobil Lube near me where there's an Alamo Car Wash. You should have seen the engine when my friend took the valve cover off. It looked like someone poured hot fudge all over it.

No answer from the guy. I'm gonna bug him all day. He may not have liked teh answer from his insurance.
