yeah the Fit seriously needs upgraded brakes and tires. Worse stopping distance than my dad's acura MDX suv. I really hate braking in this car, I've ran a few reds because if I tried to stop I would be in the middle of the intersection. Shittiest brakes I've ever seen in my life. Need. Brembo's. ASAP.

 

Some nice aftermarket brakes pads and sticky tires will definitely help the crappy stopping distance.

anybody know how to remove the roof lining on the GD? i heard the a-pillars and seat belt plastics are the most difficult to remove, i don't want to break anything . i just got some DOPE fabric that i want to line it with, i'm going to do the visors while i'm at it.

oh man, i have the worst braking story but if i tried to explain everything in detail i would be writing a short novel hahahaha... in short, i will never togue until i change my brakes and tires. it's too damn scary and just reckless altogether
i've been reading and found that Hawk HPS brake pads for a base RSX are a direct fit for the Fit's calipers - no modification necessary.
i wonder if the same pads could be used for the GE

my only issues are 1. removing the a-pillars and 2. the right pattern to choose.

 

I used to have Hawk HPS pads on my DB8. They were ok for daily driving, but sucked ass at the track. So I switched to the Project Mu HC+ pads. Oh mai gads doods... They are a paking amasing mayn! They hab a burry haard biiite! Like a Jaws...

 

No problem man. I'll just get a can and paint my wiper arms too while I'm at it.
