i just got my fit today (standard) i was looking into doing a couple mods, i am more concerned about mpg and legality.this is a comuter for me i already have another moded car so i dont want ref problems
i do want some new wheels and tires and springs, maby cai and exaust
i was wondering if any one had any ideas

 

there's a bunch you can do. click on "forums" up top and check out the vendor sections. you can buy almost everything from the vendors on here, and most will cut you a deal.

people have a huge array of opinions as to what's the "best" to put on your car... if you're gonna commute in your Fit, you probably don't want anything too loud (like for the exhaust or intake). but check out what's offered, there's a lot of good stuff out there for the Fit.

Oh, and as far as I know, there are no CARB certified intakes for the Fit, so any intake would technically be illegal.

CAI and exhust might get you in trouble if you get pulled over unless it's an OEM exhaust from Honda. Everything else you mention is legal. My advice is... 17 inch wheels are not good for pothole areas! Are you gonna change the shocks too?

 

just put yourself a cai, and an exhaust. dont worry, you wont get pulled over with all that stuff. even if you do, it takes literally 5 mins to take your cai off and 15 for your exhaust. ( it really does get you better gas mileage) i noticed a 3 mpg decrease when i returned back to stock.

 

well there are AEM, INJEN, and FUJITA intakes which are carb legal for the fit
