Terrible or Terrific: Your opinion on painted wheels

Hey all. I'm debating whether or not to get some painted wheels, and I don't know if they're going to look great or awful once on my car. I want something that pops, something that people will notice. I definitely don't want black wheels, and I'm leaning away from chrome. What do you think?

I've also been looking at these ones:

Please tell me if you think I'm going to immediately regret putting these on my car, or if they're gonna pop like nothing else.

Well that will get look's if that what you are looking for.I personal think they are little to loud in color and they look like they weigh a ton(the bottom one's that are chrome and orange). The only thing is if you don't mind the look's people will give you(plus maybe so pointing and laughing)I say go for it.Good Luck and let us know what you decide on.

I can't remember or find who it is, but someone on the forums painted their stock Sport rims, and they look great. Someone chime in on who it is, I can't remember for the life of me.

That second wheel is hideous. If you are going to paint it, it's all or nothing.

The first wheel looks like a painted Enkei RPF1. Get some normal silver wheels, just in case, so if you ever want to sell them, it'll be easy to. If you buys those wheels you might have a difficult time getting rid of them, and you'll stand out big time. Just my $0.02.

After everything is said and done, it's your car, do what you like. It doesn't matter what anyone else says looks good or bad.

I was looking at getting my white kosei k1 set powdercoated orange but I'm just stripping them and hitting it with clearcoat instead. They're gonna look sweet.
