I have this sudden craving for BBQ ribs and chicken again after looking at these pics. Good memories. Looking forward to more.

 

I had it like that after the RAW conversion, but I pulled the highlights down and I dialed back the saturation quite a bit to get what I posted. It was raining while we were driving down there, and so I wanted a shot to reflect that. Also, my monitor isn't calibrated, so maybe this is different for you, but to me your edit is too contrasty and saturated. Also, I tried to keep as much detail as possible in the highlights on Mike's car. In yours it almost looks like a Tidewater.
