that is a bit too dark and you migh get pulled over. but it is a pretty good deal. the cheapest quote i got from the bay area is $200. i am thinking of getting 70$ front 4 and 35% rear 5.
in CA you are suppose to have atleast 70% light transmittance into the front side windows. you should read up on the rules before you get it.
also it doesnt really matter what brand they use cuz oyu said they give you life time warantee, so if it goes bad they will fix it.

170? I'm in KC and I would consider that a good price out here. The shop I go to does the local Ferrari club, and all the Hummers use em, they haven't seen the car, but It cost me a shade shy of $200 for my golf...

For $170, it makes me wonder if they've seen the car or not.. They have two extra windows near the mirrors to cut film for as well as the other 7.. Thats nine windows!

Ask them if the warranty is against peeling or against fading.

I paid $220 in South Carolina. A few years ago I paid $200 in Colorado for my 1999 Saab 9-3 (4-door).

Just make sure it is metalized film they're using. Metalized film will not fade into the purple-ish color you see on some cars' tint.

$150 for titanium tint on all 9 windows...and he does everything himself, so no worries of a new guy screwing it up.

oh thats good then because i've heard of so many brands but i wasnt sure if johnsons was good, but anyway i notice u're car has eyelids, i am planning to get mine off ebay except i wanna get the F2 ones but hey i wanted to ask you if the eyelids damage the headlights and would they come off with the rain? yours are fibreglass right?
and i also wanted to know if u can take 'em off and on whenever u want?
i just wanna make sure im gonna get what i want cuz they are kina pricey

yeah i was the one that hosted the corrmann eyelids for the fit a couple months back, he sold over 3 dozen sets!! He's the same seller on ebay, there is 2 styles: F1 (exact replica of corrmann eyelids) and F2 (looks more aggressive).

The eyelids do not damage the headlights in any way, i took mine off and was only left w/ the double sided tape residue that came off w/ goo-gone. They did not come off with rain b/c they are very secure on there. I wash my car once a week and i had the eyelids on there for 5 months w/ no problems ever. U cannot take em off once u install them b/c they are thin fiberglass double sided taped to the headlights and it will break on you.

Well i painted mine myself using paint from paintscratch.com. what color is ur car? i bet u can do it urself. OH btw it doesn't block the parking light too much, it still shines through underneath the eyelids, but it makes em more aggressive!

oh yea? well i have the nighthawk black and since i have the base fit i just wanna make it look aggressive and the reason i ask this is cuz the F2 are a little bigger than the F1's and i thought they'd block the parking lights

naw the curve is actually more in the center near the headlight and doesn't curve as much as the F1's around the running light.

U can find the stock NBP paint from any automotive shop in spray paint form so u don't have 2 buy it from paintscratch.com
