So I'm not sure when the last meet in Sacramento was but here we go!

A couple of us are planning on running our cars during the scca autox event on Sunday 4/14. A few of the guys from the bay are thinking of joining us and then hitting up OZ Korean BBQ after autox.

I'm coming from the east bay! Got to leave by 5am to hopefully make it for the morning runs... Gonna be a long but FUN day and I look forward to meeting some new Fit Freaks!!!

 

I had a lot of fun today getting my butt handed to me today by you thanks for the tips I will have to make it out to some of the bay area autox events this year.

 

I didn't make it to AutoX but I went to the KBBQ but no one showed while I was there (12:45-2) but hopefully everyone had a good time and we'll be able to get together another time.

 

Aly: Sorry we missed you! We didn't get to OZ till well after 2PM since I was putting my car back to "street friendly-ish mode."

Bap: Where did you end up?! I don't think I caught your final time... I've got a ton of seat time in my Fit and your MS3 is still new to you! Work on smoothing out your inputs, rolling on throttle as you apex and get some sticky summer tires...you'll be smoking me in no time

 

I ended up with a 65.88 was my best and I was trying to be smother with the throttle but need more practice with the power still burning them up on the last corner/ strait to the finish.

 

That last series of turns you REALLY had to give it up for, then HARD down through the finish!

I only got you by like three tenths! My best was a 65.543.. then I decided to take the first left hander at 55+ flat footed and did a wonderful 4 wheel drift through 2-3 cones on the outside wall

Those 3 tenths will be EASY to find. Sticky rubber and seat time alone, will have you whopping my grocery getter for sure

That ST Focus used to be right behind or within a tenth or 2 my times at my local SFR events. Then he got those proper RS3 Hankooks on it and had me by at least a full second

For everyone else who missed the meet I hope you can make it to the next one.

Started the day bright and early at 7am! Met up with TPColgett and Bap at the autox venue in Mather. Tyler prepped his car for the day and we waited for the event to start.

After the first run group Pikey52 showed up and he ended up spotting for me (making sure I didn't get hit by a car while I took pictures) and got front row seat on course to watch.

We chatted for a bit and we all went our separate ways.
