Sorry, I didn't mean your car, just the Honda Fit in general. I'm not fond of being passed on the track and having paid good money for the privilege (?).. It is more funn doing the passing.. I hate to finish last at anything..

 

i understand ur point, i too dont like to be beaten all the time either. But if i hated getting passed, i probably wouldnt have gotten a fit lol
In all, i dont mind getting passed by the "big boys," its when a slower, less capable car passes me i would be a little pissed

Has this thread died? =( I'm in the bay area for a few weeks and will be racing in Marina tomorrow! I would LOVE to see some Fits out there! <3

 

No it is not dead... but do to illness, I haven't had my Fit entered in Solo since last June. Sorry to miss you but I live too far from Marina to make a casual trip over there. Other Fits make only rare appearances in autox..

 

I am planning on making my next AutoX appearance on 9/29 at Marina:

Hopefully I'll spend less time sideways this time

 

Well the course should not be as tight as our last event.. The layout will favor the BIG IRON monsters which have an easier time with a more smooth running more wide open layout..

I may make it to that event, depending on many things going right.. There is an event closer to home the next day (9/30) at Atwater with the Fresno SCCA folks.. I want to try a few things out on BBfroge' in somewhat of a STF configuration (and to get back into driving autoX again )

BTW do you know some shop that can drill wheels to the Honda spacing??

I have a friend with a 2010 Dodge Challenger RT that is trying to come to the 9/29 event and yea, his BIG IRON, MIGHT have a chance of keeping up with me on they're course layout

I don't know anyone local that re drills, but I could ask around if you like?
